We are a group of doctors, entrepreneurs and technicians. We have  extensive experience practicing medicine and delivering visible results in Myanmar and abroad. Our Golden Zaneka Public Company is a multifunctional health care services company developed in the private health care service sector of Myanmar, poised to make a difference in Myanmar community, subsequent to recent changes in the socio-political, economic, health and education environment. Recent developments in Myanmar have unleashed great opportunities for business in all sectors, including healthcare services. This results in the formation of new private and public companies.


The founding members of Golden Zaneka Public Company (hereafter referred to as GZP) have extensive experience working in both public and private sectors of health care services in Myanmar. They are experienced and successful doctors who have previously developed large poly clinics which have become hospitals in 2010 when the political climate changed.
The Board of Directors, who will receive relevant suggestions and planning advice from Advisory Group, will directly represent shareholders and their interests. The Executive Committee, led by Chairman, will implement the objectives in accordance with their expertise to execute the strategic plans laid out by the Board of Directors.
We envision that the established Golden Zaneka Public Company will become a leader among the many public companies in Myanmar, and be a center of excellence for managed health care.

Mission

The Golden Zaneka Public Company Limited aims to achieve the inclusive healthcare coverage across Myanmar by developing and delivering affordable, reliable, trusted quality services; advanced knowledge and skills; and products including pharmaceuticals, modern infrastructures, technology with the ethical practices of international standards, and hence contributing to inclusive sustainable social and economic development in the country.

Objectives

1.    Develop and deliver international level medical education and trainings with the ultimate purpose of establishing Myanmar International University of world class.
2.    Develop and expand nationwide community medical centres for 24-hour healthcare services including emergency medical care, home healthcare with value-added telemedicine/ teleradiology expertise.
3.    Develop and implement a basic Emergency Medical Service with a National Ambulance Service of international standard that is appropriate for Myanmar
4.    Manufacture and distribute essential and generic drugs to achieve sufficiency for local use and trading.
5.    Develop and implement Health Maintenance insurance with Managed Healthcare program for all.
6.    Regularly evaluate company’s performance and growth through monitoring, research and development.
7.    Develop and implement Public-Private Partnership (PPP) by networking nationwide with the aim of contributing to universal healthcare coverage.

Professor Dr. Kyaw Myint Naing, still practising consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to Bahosi Hospital and Pinlon Hospital. He is currently Chairman and founding member of Golden Zaneka Public Company limited. He is also founding director and Patron of Bahosi Hospital since 2000, and advisor to SOS International Co., Ltd., Singapore. He is also previously Chairman of Myanmar Medical Council (4 years), Chairman of Confederation of Medical Association of South East Asia (2) years, and still immediate past president of Myanmar Medical Association (MMA).

Professor Dr. Thein Aung, Chief Pediatrician, currently Vice Chairman of Golden Zaneka Public Company Limited, founded Royal Parami Life Sciences Company in 2010 (Chairman and Co – Owner), founding director of Bahosi General Hospital in 2000. There are nine board of directors who are founders of Golden Zaneka Public Company Limited. The following directors are active executive members.
Dr. Tin Nyunt
He is a founder and executive member of Board of Director of Golden Zaneka Public Company Limited. Dr. Tin Nyunt is a member of Executive committee of MMA, retired Director General of Traditional Medicine with MoH, Deputy Director General of Department of Health and Director of National Health Laboratory. He is Advisor to Nippon Foundation (Japan) since 2010 and helped in development of founded social and health care programme, e.g. Mobile Clinic. Also an Executive director and a founder of liver foundation of Myanmar since 2013, Chairman of New Life foundation for special needs children since 2012, Consultant Pathologist and Head of the Parami General Hospital Laboratory.
Dr. Khin Maung Chit
He is a founder and Executive member of Board of Director of Golden Zaneka Public Company Limited.
Managing Director of Royal Parami Life Sciences Company Limited and Founder of Parami General Hospital Yangon since 2010.
He is Central Executive Member and Joint-Secretary-General (District) of Myanmar Medical Association (MMA) and Patron of MMA (Bago Region). He is currently the Patron of Taungoo Township Education Network.
Dr. Htoo Maung Ohn
He is a founder and Executive member of Board of Director of Golden Zaneka Public Company limited. Assistant Director of Emergency Department at Palmdale Regional Medical Center in Southern California, U.S.A. and returning to Myanmar to contribute to Golden Zaneka Public Company Limited his twenty-plus years academic and clinical experiences in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Ohn functions as Director of Emergency Medical Services of Parami General Hospital.

Professor Dr. Aung Tun Thet
Professor Dr. Aung Tun Thet is currently the President’s Economic Advisor and also a member of the President’s National Economic and Social Advisory Council, Member of Myanmar Investment Commission, Advisor of Union of Myanmar Federation of Commerce and Industries, Member of Myanmar Press Council, Senior Advisor, UN Resident Coordinator’s Office, Yangon, Myanmar and a visiting Professor, to Yangon Institute of Economics, Yangon University, National Defense College. Previously, he held various positions including Principal Officer, UN System Staff College, Turin, Italy (2000-2008), Senior Policy Advisor, UNICEF, New York, Dhaka, Bangkok (1992-2000), Director-General, Ministry of Health (1989-1992) & Faculty Member, Institute of Economics, Yangon (1966-1989). Professor Aung has a B.Com. (Yangon) & a Post-graduate Diploma in Management Studies (Brighton), M.Sc. Operations Research from University of Warwick, Ph.D. Management Sciences from University of Manchester & a Postdoctoral Fellow from University of Marburg.

Mr. Victor Lye
Mr. Lye has over 25 years’ operational and strategic experience in public policy, macroeconomic and investment analysis, capital markets, corporate finance, direct investments, asset management and insurance. He has started, repositioned and turned around several businesses during his career. Familiar with regional markets, he oversaw business units and worked at various times in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, New York, and London. Mr. Lye has a First Class Honours degree in Economics (with Accounting) from the University of Adelaide under a Colombo Plan Scholarship. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Financial Planner. He is a Board member of the Singapore Chinese Orchestra and Chairman of its Investment Committee. In corporate governance, Mr. Lye leads Independent Director of Superior Multi-Packaging Ltd. and Chairman of the Audit Committee. He was Director of Maple tree investments Pte. Ltd. and The Harbour front Pte. Ltd. in 2001, which developed the mega Vivocity Mall at Sentosa Gateway in Singapore. Mr. Lye has a passion for advising and building up businesses from a strategic perspective.
