Golden Zaneka Public Co., Ltd, the very first health care services public company ever to provide a telemedicine service, launched an opening ceremony on Sunday, 27th July, 2014, at Saya San Plaza in Yangon.
The company chairman Professor Kyaw Myint Naing delivered an opening speech followed by a power point presentation of its service products narrated and introduced by the Managing Director, Dr. Tin Nyunt. Professor Aung Tun Thet, Economic Advisor to the President, addressed ethical issues: how crucial corporate governance is to enhance a company’s responsibility and investors’ confidence in ensuring the ownership and management are separate; the importance of transparency; and requirement of the fundamental application of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). The launching ceremony was attended by one hundred and fifty guests including retired academicians, senior clinicians and doctors interested in business, and other different organizations, some representatives from the embassies, and local media groups. The company then conducted a closing ceremony by CSR contribution, donating MMK 10 Lakhs each to the three social organizations: SGED (Support Group for Elderly Doctors), Emergency Ambulance Foundation, and New Life Foundation (school for children with special needs).
